New Ponies

I have been a lucky girl. For my birthday and christmas I received new herd members. Finally had time to photograph them to show them off.

"Carinosa" my very first PAM, every collecter should have one such a sweet face.

"Black Caviar" I just had to get this Australian legend, she has wonderful rich undertones.

Next is "Honey Magnet" I have been looking for a Palouse for along time and when I saw this girl with her amazing shading I had to have her.

Last up is "Harmonie" fell in love with his beautiful soft dapples.

Lily

Along with the new house comes a new puppy. Meet Lily a Lab/Dachshund/Black Panther mix who is about a year old. We found her at the local rescue shelter and just had to take her home. Don't be fool by those big brown puppy eyes, that extra length is all full of bad and trouble making.

New Studio Works

The one that didn't survive the trip from Australia was my custom jumper, sadly his tail snapped off. I was never fully happy with his tail so I guess it gives me a chance to redo it from scratch. I have also been working slowly on my Whisper resin and I have started work on a classic Mustang foal giving him a new mane and ears.

My New House

Happy to say that I have moved into my new house, complete with studio and model horse room! All my horses except one arrived safely from Australia. I'm loving the 2.5 acres in the rural setting, my studio looks out onto a pasture of 5 beautiful Quarter Horses and Paints.

So happy to have my whole collection together, I have even added some new members. I'm also loving this clear spice rack to hold my little guys, so they don't get lost behind each other.

Travel Horse - Fossil Falls

Not far from my new house in California lies Fossil Falls. Long ago volcanic activity in the area mixed with meltwater from glaciers in the nearby Sierra Nevada mountain range, this resulted in the unique geological features of  Fossil Falls. It was a highly windy day so I was unable to get Travel Horse too close, for fear that he would fall to his doom. So he stood back on some awesome lava rocks and posed like a celebrity.
